Daniel off to California for round two of Atlantic series
May 12, 2008 - Indianapolis, Indiana - Round two of the Cooper Tire Presents The Atlantic Championship Powered by Mazda takes place this coming weekend and eighteen year-old Daniel Morad is looking to to improve on his sixth-place finish at the season opener in Long Beach last month.

One of only a few drivers to make up positions on the very tight streets of Long Beach, Daniel is looking forward to having a bit more breathing room for the Metro Directories #70 Eurointernational Swift 016.a this weekend.

"The big thing about Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway is that there is more runoff room" Daniel said. "The walls are further away from the track, but Laguna Seca is still not an easy track to pass on. It’s a very high speed circuit and the cars have a lot of down force which makes overtaking very difficult.“ He continued, "Track position is important so we hope for a good qualifying run to get out front. Traffic will also come into play and the trick will be making clean passes.”
