| Round 3 - Indianapolis Daniel takes the checkers P2 on Sunday |
Series Update - 6 races - 6 podiums June 17 , 2007 Markham, Ontario - It was a different race on Sunday as Daniel's dive to the inside was thwarted and he would have to adjust his tactic, losing some momentum in the process. In the process of fending off attacks throughout the early laps the race leader was able to pull out a gap. It was enough that when Daniel got clear of traffic, and despite closing in, the interval was just too great for him to make up. "We were good today" offered Daniel in a post race interview, "but not quite good enough to make up the gap after dealing with traffic. But we are very happy with a podium finish and the second place points are very valuable right now." After 6 races, Daniel has a 23 point lead in the championship going into the next round at Lime Rock Park July 6 and 7.
